Our Journey
Managing Director Simon Rutt and Accounts Director Rebecca Rutt began their careers working with one of the UK’s largest service and maintenance companies. Through this experience, they gained valuable industry insight but also witnessed a decline in old-school customer service and a shift away from truly understanding clients’ needs.
Wanting to make a change, they founded Arch Catering and Refrigeration Ltd in 2021. Since then, the company has grown steadily from servicing a single local site to working with national hotel groups.
As our business rapidly expanded, we recognized the importance of maintaining our personalized, one-on-one customer service. To support this, we welcomed the next generation into the team.
The Team
Max Wratten, Rebecca’s son, joined as Operations Director, bringing a wealth of knowledge and a deep understanding of site needs. Having observed Simon and Rebecca’s dedication over the years, Max was naturally drawn to the business and has since played a key role in its continued growth.
Chloe Wratten, Rebecca’s daughter, also became part of the company as Sales and Marketing Director. Though not originally from the industry, she developed a strong interest in the business over time. With her sales experience, proactive approach and passion for working with people, Chloe has become a valuable asset, driving sales and marketing efforts forward.

Based in our busy office and catering equipment showroom in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, our team supports a growing client base while working closely with our network of skilled engineers, who are strategically positioned across the country.
