Commercial Catering Equipment Supply & Installation Nationwide
The right equipment, specified correctly, installed by qualified engineers, and supported for the long term.
Industries We Serve
If your kitchen feeds people professionally, we can help.
Why Choose Arch
Specification, Supply & Installation, All Under One Roof
Getting commercial kitchen equipment wrong costs you time, money, and service. Wrong specification, poor installation, or an unreliable supplier all create problems you can't afford. We remove that risk, from first consultation through to commissioning and beyond.
We work with restaurants, hotels, cafés, care homes, school caterers, and contract kitchen operators across England. Whatever your operation, the stakes are the same, equipment that fails costs you service, reputation, and revenue. Every recommendation we make is built around your specific kitchen, not a catalogue default.
When specifying commercial catering equipment, we focus on products that deliver:
- Energy efficiency that reduces your running costs
- Low water consumption
- Reduced waste output
- Longer equipment lifespan
- Lower total cost of ownership
Vendor Neutral Advice
We're not tied to any single manufacturer. Our recommendations are based entirely on what suits your kitchen, your service volumes, and your budget, not on what earns us the best margin. You get honest guidance from people who know commercial kitchens.
Lifecycle Value Focus
The cheapest option is rarely the cheapest to own. We assess the full picture, energy consumption, parts availability, maintenance frequency, and expected lifespan, so your investment performs and pays off over time.
Professional Installation
Every installation is carried out by our qualified engineers, working to manufacturer specification. Equipment that's commissioned correctly works reliably from day one, reducing the risk of early failure and the costly downtime that comes with it.
Training & Support
Your team gets hands on training covering operation, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting before we leave site. From the start, your staff know how to use the equipment safely and get the best out of it every service.
Recommended Equipment
We've Done the Hard Work for You
A selection of our recommended and best-selling catering and refrigeration equipment, from some of the industry's leading manufacturers.
Over the years, Arch Catering & Refrigeration Ltd has spent considerable time testing, researching and sourcing equipment that we are confident recommending to our clients.
We don't simply sell equipment because it is available. We look at reliability, build quality, performance, energy efficiency, value for money and long term serviceability.
Our manufacturer partnerships also allow us to negotiate favourable commercial pricing, and wherever possible we pass those savings directly on to our customers.

Because we're vendor neutral, every recommendation is driven by your requirements, not by supplier incentives.
How We Work
We Are Not an Online Box Shifter
You won't find a simple Add to Basket button here. Buying commercial catering equipment takes more consideration than finding the cheapest price online, and these are significant investments for any foodservice operation.
Before recommending a unit, we'll discuss your requirements, including:
- Your menu and cooking requirements
- Expected volume and usage
- Available space
- Electrical, gas, water and drainage requirements
- Ventilation and extraction
- Access and delivery considerations
- Your budget
- Installation requirements
- Future operational needs
Our experienced team will then recommend the equipment we believe is right for your business.
Before You Order
Why Take the Risk?
The last thing you want is to buy an expensive piece of equipment, have it delivered to site, and then discover it isn't suitable for your kitchen.
It doesn't fit through the door
Access routes, doorways, lift dimensions and floor loadings all decide whether a unit can physically reach the spot it is meant to occupy.
The electrical supply isn't sufficient
Three-phase requirements, available load and connection points need checking before an order is placed, not on the morning of the install.
The capacity isn't right
Equipment sized for the wrong service volume either bottlenecks your kitchen or costs you money standing half empty.
It's the wrong machine for the menu
The right unit for a bakery is the wrong unit for a high-turnover grill kitchen. What you cook decides what you should buy.
We aim to identify these issues before you place the order, saving you time, money and unnecessary hassle.
Our Process
From Initial Consultation to Long Term Support
We manage every stage of the process, so you're not left piecing it together yourself.
Consultation
We start by understanding your operation in full, menu type, service volumes, kitchen layout, utility connections, and budget. Where needed, we carry out a site visit to assess space constraints and installation requirements before making any recommendations. No assumptions, no shortcuts.
Initial meeting and site survey
Specification & Quote
Based on your brief, we develop a detailed equipment specification, matched to your kitchen's demands, not a generic catalogue selection. Your quotation covers equipment, delivery, installation, and commissioning, with no hidden extras. We explain every recommendation clearly, including why we've chosen it and what it costs to run.
Detailed proposal to follow
Install & Commission
Our qualified engineers handle everything: positioning, utility connections, safety testing, and commissioning to manufacturer specification. We don't hand over equipment until it's been fully tested and verified. All relevant certifications are provided on completion.
Scheduled to suit your operation
Ongoing Service & PPM
Once installed, we offer planned preventive maintenance contracts to keep your commercial catering equipment performing reliably and your warranties intact. Our engineers already know your kit from installation, that continuity means faster servicing, fewer surprises, and faults caught before they become failures.
Scheduled maintenance throughout equipment life
Supply only, or a complete solution
If you simply require the equipment, we're happy to provide a supply only solution. Where required, we can provide the complete service and coordinate the whole process with you.
- Equipment supply
- Delivery
- Installation
- Commissioning
- Training
- Removal of existing equipment
Our team will help ensure your new equipment arrives safely, is installed correctly and is ready for use.
Compliance & Warranty
Certified Installation. Warranty Protected. Fully Documented.
Every installation we complete meets manufacturer requirements, protecting your equipment, your warranty, and your business.
Installation to Manufacturer Specification
All installation work is carried out in strict accordance with manufacturer guidelines. This isn't just best practice, it's what keeps your equipment operating safely, correctly, and under full warranty cover. Non-compliant installation can void your warranty and create serious safety risks.
Our engineers are fully qualified across gas, electrical and refrigeration work. Full documentation is provided on completion of every installation.
Booking a Service Call
When reporting a fault, having your equipment's make, model, and serial number to hand helps our engineers arrive prepared, with the right technical documentation and a clearer picture of the likely fault. Data plates are typically found inside equipment doors, on rear panels, or behind service access covers. We recommend photographing these for your records when equipment is first installed.
Warranty Registration & Support
After installation, we handle warranty registration with the manufacturer on your behalf. If a warranty issue arises, we manage the entire claim, technical assessments, parts, and repair work, so you're not left navigating manufacturer processes yourself.
Most manufacturers require professional installation to validate warranty cover. Our certified installations protect your entitlements from day one.
Planned Preventive Maintenance
Regular servicing keeps your commercial catering equipment performing at full efficiency, extends its operational life, and ensures manufacturer warranties remain valid. Our PPM contracts are carried out by engineers familiar with your equipment from the point of installation, meaning faster visits, better fault prediction, and fewer unexpected breakdowns.

Common Questions
Catering Equipment FAQs
Answers to the questions we're most commonly asked before a first enquiry.
1What areas do you cover for supply and installation?
We supply and install commercial catering equipment across England. Not sure if we cover your location? Call us and we'll confirm.
2Do you supply equipment only, or do you handle installation as well?
We handle both, and in most cases we'd recommend using us for installation too. Equipment installed by our qualified engineers is commissioned to manufacturer specification, which protects your warranty and reduces the risk of early faults. That said, if you only need supply, we can quote for that separately.
3How long does commercial kitchen equipment installation take?
It depends on the scope. A single appliance replacement can often be completed in a day. A full kitchen fit-out is planned in phases and typically scheduled around your operational requirements to minimise disruption. We give you a clear timeline before any work begins.
4Do I need a Gas Safe registered engineer to install commercial cooking equipment?
Yes. All gas appliance installations must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer, this is a legal requirement, not just best practice. We arrange fully qualified engineers and provide documentation on completion. Using an unregistered installer will void your warranty and invalidate your insurance.
5Can you advise on which equipment is right for my kitchen before I commit to anything?
Yes, and we'd encourage it. We offer free initial consultations, including site visits where needed. We'll assess your kitchen layout, service volumes, utility connections, and budget before making any recommendations. There's no obligation to proceed.
6What happens if equipment develops a fault under warranty?
We handle it. After installation we register your warranty with the manufacturer on your behalf. If a fault arises during the warranty period, we manage the claim directly, technical assessment, parts, and repair, so you're not navigating manufacturer processes yourself.
7Do you offer finance or leasing on equipment?
Yes. Through our finance partner Complete Leasing, we offer tailored finance solutions that spread the cost of new equipment into manageable monthly payments. Use our online calculator for an instant estimate, or speak to us about your specific requirements.
8Can you maintain equipment you didn't originally install?
Yes. We carry out planned preventive maintenance and reactive repairs on commercial catering equipment regardless of who installed it. Having your equipment's make, model, and serial number to hand when you call helps us prepare in advance.
